Miss Sporty glitter polish review

Hello lovely ladies, how did your week started? Mine is OK, until now.

Before Christmas I added to my collection a new glitter polish from Miss Sporty - Oh My Gem! 003, which is a deep purple jelly polish. I was very lucky and I've got it as an offer together with a peel off base coat, that works fantastic and helps a lot when it comes to remove the glitter from the nails. I completely forgot to take a picture when I removed the polish, sorry about it. But I recommend you this base coat, I am sure that I will re-buy it too!

I added the polish in two coats on my nails, but perhaps it would looked better in three as I see the pictures. The polish is quite sheer even if the finished color looks deep!

I couldn't live just the plain glitter polish on my nails and I added a floral stamping pattern on it with my new MoYou 220 stamping plate, that I won at a competition organized by the lovely Andreea, Ditta's Nail Design & Art and after a while I added a few silver studs too. I just got carried away!

I like very much how the glitter particles shine in the sun, and I am thinking to add a few more polishes from this collection! Do you know them? Which one is your favorite?

Nail Team Challenge - Inspired by...a book, movie, song...

Today I am starting a nail art challenge together with the girls from the The Polish Addict Group. Let's hope nothing comes in between and each Saturday I am going to post a new nail art!

The themes for this challenge were chosen by us, each girl came up with an idea for the Saturday's challenge. On the bottom of this post, you can find a list of all the themes.

Today, as you can see in the title we have a fun topic proposed by Oana, Unghiute colorate, Happy Nails

My inspiration was an older movie called My Week with Marilyn. I already made a mani with this theme back in 2012 (you can find it here), then I painted freehand Marilyn Monroe's portrait on my nails, now I've used the stamping plate BP 15, from the Born Pretty Store

To complete my new years eve resolution, I use just my new and unused polishes, so here are two of them. I painted the base with Rimmel - Breakfast In Bed, from the Rita Ora collection. This is a light minty creme polish with micro-shimmer, that must be applied in two coats because in one is is a little streaky. It dries to a nice shine. For the glam effect, that I associate with Marilyn, I added to the tip of the nails a little bit of gold glitter by Australis - Eureka. The stamping is added like an accent nail on my ring finger.

I hope you like this mani, it is nothing complicated, I kept it simple. If you like the stamping pattern you can find the plate here, or just enter the Born Pretty Store world and I am sure you are going to find interesting nail art products for you. You can use my discount code if you like!

Look up for the manicures the other girls made from the group:

OPI Pink of Hearts duo for 2014

Hello lovely ladies

This is my first post in 2015, so first of all I want to wish you all a Happy New Year and may this year bring you happiness, health and everything that you want! My new year resolution is to stay healthy and about my blog, to change a little bit the layout, to make a new header, to keep up with the challenges made with the TPA (The Polish Addict) group, to try my unused polishes before I buy new ones and get out a little bit of my comfort zone and make interesting new nail designs :)

But this time, I am going to start the year with a simple layered mani. Some of you know that I had a big wish, I wanted very bad to own the Pink of Hearts 2014 OPI set. When I first saw it at other bloggers, I fell in love with it and tried to buy it, but in each store in my town got the same answer, I should be patient because it will probably appear in the first half of the year 2015. This is why my surprise was huge, when I saw the set under the Christmas tree. Santa was very attentive with me!

I am not going to write much about this set to not bore you, because a lot of you already know this product. It is a set for Breast Cancer Awareness that contains two polishes and a stylish nail file with a ribbon charm attached to it. Mod About You is one of the polishes I used for the base in one coat, it is a light pink creme, with a great formula. I topped it with The Power of Pink that is a sheer light pink polish with dark pink and white glitters. I absolutely loved this combination on my nails.

I will share a few pictures from my holiday. We were in several places, but the pictures you see bellow are made in the Baisoara Mountain, near to our town.

We had a snowball fight with my daughter. It was a lot of fun.
Thank you for stopping by.
