Born Pretty Store stamping plate and polish review

Those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram saw that I've received some stamping plates and polishes from the Born Pretty Store for reviews. Today I choose to make a romantic and elegant looking manicure with the lovely butterfly patterns from the plate BP-34, that you can find here.  

This plate has 7 patterns that are perfect for long and large nails. The most of the patterns, as you can see  are butterfly's that look very delicate.

For my manicure I used for the base the color of the year, marsala from Modelite HD - F7 and I stamped my nails with the yellow toned gold stamping polish, also from the Born Pretty Store, that you can find here. On my ring finger and thumb I applied 3 layers of  P2 - Lost glitter - get gorgeous!

The BPS stamping polish is very sparkly almost it has a foil effect and transfers easily to the nails. Because of it's fantastic glow I think it would look great on any kind of base color! 

 

All in all the stamping plate is excellent, the patterns are very well carved in and the stamping polish is easy to work with and it is absolutely wonderful! If you like these products or any other nail art stuff from the Born Pretty Store, you can use my discount code from below!

Nail Team Challenge - Tape mani

Today's theme is thought by Rita, the owner of the blog Addicted to Butterflies. I've had an idea for this theme but the outcome is a little bit different, but I like it.

I've created a colorful base combination with 4 polishes and added a little bit of glitter on it to achieve a brighter and shinier effect. After it dried completely I put the tapes on two of my nails in triangle shapes and painted with a black polish. I added some matte black rhinestones on the other nails.

I was not completely satisfied with the results I've obtained after I added the black shapes, but I received many compliments for this nail art and some of my friends asked me to make this exact similar design for them too. So, I think it is not quite so bad. What is your opinion about it?

Beauty Forum Cluj

Yesterday I participated as a visitor to the 3rd Professional Beauty Exhibition called Beauty Forum organized in my hometown Cluj-Napoca. There were many company's who presented different beauty services, techniques and new brands. I had the opportunity to watch professional shows presented by well known hair stylists, make-up artists and nail technicians. I made a lot of pictures, here are some of them.

My friend with her husband are hairstylist and they had a fantastic show with the theme hats. I loved what they have created on the stage. It was a fantastic and unique show given by the Headmasters Studio. And from such an event I've couldn't live without a few goodies. I've bought two polishes a few nail art products and I received from a dear friend as a gift a hand pillow and a few samples from the professional Farmec cosmetics.
