Textured polish combination

I was in the mood to have textured polishes on my nails. I grabbed my unused stash and brought to the light two gorgeous shades, Avon Stardust - Crystallized Pink and Astor - Elegant Amethyst.

Crystallized Pink is an elegant pale pink, packed with sandy particles and big hexagon glitters. Two simple coats are enough for a great effect and it dries very fast to a glittery and super fancy finish.

Crystal Sparkling - 001 Elegant Amethyst is a textured effect polish which comes in a beautiful, incredibly great berry purple with fine golden glitter. It dries to a matte finish very quicklyThe formula is great, as usual - the wide and flexible, round edged brush makes the job easy. The polish is highly opaque, so one thick layer is sufficient for a great cover!

Of course I couldn't live this mani without a little bit of nail art. On two of my nails I applied the polishes mixed in a mosaic pattern.

I hope you like this color and texture combination!

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Nail Team Challenge - Retro manicure

This weekend theme is absolutely my kind of style and it was the idea of lovely Iulia. From the start I knew that I will make something colorful with dots. So, here is the manicure I've made and I love, love, love the outcome of it.

I used for the base Le petit Cliche - Angora. As you can see it in the pictures, it is a light gray polish with a white pearl finish that is perfect for a nail art base! In the bottle there are visible some small pink glitter particles but applied on the nails they are unnoticeable.

Here are all the polishes I've used for this nail art.

I was very curious how this manicure looks with a matte top coat and even if in the pictures the difference is not so big, I like it more this way. What would be your choice, glossy or matte?

Lets see the other girls what kind of ideas they had for this theme:

Born Pretty Store stamping plate and polish review

Those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram saw that I've received some stamping plates and polishes from the Born Pretty Store for reviews. Today I choose to make a romantic and elegant looking manicure with the lovely butterfly patterns from the plate BP-34, that you can find here.

This plate has 7 patterns that are perfect for long and large nails. The most of the patterns, as you can see  are butterfly's that look very delicate.

For my manicure I used for the base the color of the year, marsala from Modelite HD - F7 and I stamped my nails with the yellow toned gold stamping polish, also from the Born Pretty Store, that you can find here. On my ring finger and thumb I applied 3 layers of  P2 - Lost glitter - get gorgeous!

The BPS stamping polish is very sparkly almost it has a foil effect and transfers easily to the nails. Because of it's fantastic glow I think it would look great on any kind of base color!

All in all the stamping plate is excellent, the patterns are very well carved in and the stamping polish is easy to work with and it is absolutely wonderful! If you like these products or any other nail art stuff from the Born Pretty Store, you can use my discount code from below!
