Born Pretty Store lace stamping plate

Today I am going to make a review for a stamping plate, BP-L020 that was on my wishlist from the moment it appeared on the Born Pretty Store site. Lovely Tina was so kind and she sent it to me, an now I can tell you my opinion about it.

I made two manicures, the first is not so great and the second one is my absolute favorite one.

For the first one I used a nude polish from Avon - ColoTrend - Rare and I stamped the flower lace pattern on two of my nails, using just a simple transparent base coat and the black Born Pretty Store stamping polish. For a more elegant effect I added two rectangular shaped silver studs on the lace pattern.

The second manicure is more colorful and fun looking one. I used a pale nude/orange shade from Astor - Bridal's Bouquet #102 as my stamping and dot base and I combined it with the wonderful vibrant textured orange shade from FOA - Mango Slurpee. I love the final result a lot.

All in all this stamping plate became my absolute favorite one from all I have in my collection, the lace patterns are very versatile and elegant one, many interesting nail designs can be done with it, even for weddings too. I think all of you already know it, but I am going to repeat myself, the plate is very well carved in, all the patterns transfer very well on the nails. I like very much that the Born Pretty Store made for each of the new stamping plates a very trendy and stylish cardboard cover, this way the plate is safe at transportation and why not, after each use.

If you like the stamping plate you can find it here, and now it is on SALE, don't miss the occasion to get it. I recommend it to all of you who like elegant nail designs. If you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store, you're welcome to use my discount code from bellow.

Matching manicure to an outfit

Hello lovely ladies.

I usually browse fashion blogs and sites and if I see an outfit that inspires me I save it to my phone and try to make a matching manicure to it. In the pictures below, you will see an interesting and very futuristic looking dress from Versace. It was a challenge for me to recreate the shapes to my nails.

I took out from my stash a light blue polish from American Apparel - The Valley and a cream white polish from Flormar - Pure Milk. The challenge was to recreate the black lace looking fabric. The most simple thing was to stamp it on my nails, so I just did it and after drying I painted the blue and white shapes on it. I am not very pleased wit the result, maybe it would have been looked better if I used a striping tape, but because lack of time, I preferred to make it freehand.

What is your opinion about it?

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Born Pretty Store Chameleon polish review

I am a big multi-chrome polish fan and if I see a beautiful one, my heart start to beat faster. I think you all polish addicts will understand me :)) Well, today, I am going to show you one from the Born Pretty Store, Chameleon Nail Polish #201.

This polish requires a dark base, preferably a black one. I used a strong pigmented dark blue one from Nails Inc. and added on it the chameleon polish in two layers. As you can see in the pictures the multi-chrome effect is very strong and visible it has a shift from blue to purple with subtle bronze green transition.

Overall I love the effect of this polish, in any light conditions it is visible and beautiful. The only thing that has a minus from me is the small bottle witch is hard to hold in the hands and this includes the small brush too, but all in all I recommend this polish because it is simply beautiful!

If you like this polish, you can find it here and it is on SALE now, so go and grab it and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code.
