Born Pretty Store thermal nail polish

Hello ladies,

how was your weekend? As you may know from the social media sites, I participated to a great event here in my hometown, the annual Beauty Blogger Meeting. But more details about it in another post, soon! Today I am going to show you a cute polish received from the Born Pretty Store. This is my first thermal polish that actually works and I really like it. 

The polish is called MY-DEAR no. 007 which is purple when the hands are in a cold environment and green/blue when it's warm. I applied two thin coats without a top coat and you can see the result of them in the pictures! The color change is visible and you don't need to have your nails in extreme temperature situation. As I have a little bit longer nails than usual, the green/blue-purple gradient is noticeable at room temperature. The effect is very pretty and out of curiosity I used this polish for stamping too and I really like the effect of it. On my ring finger nail I applied spots of holographic nail foils.

As I mentioned above this is a polish that has a very eye catching color transition, I like it so much that I want to try other colors too from this collection. The only objection is the small 6ml, bottle of this product, other wise I recommend to all of you who like these type of polishes.

Peacock feather necklace

From about 2 weeks ago I received a very pretty peacock feather necklace form Lady Queen shop. Unfortunately because of transportation the feathers were a little bit squeezed and deformed and I had to use a few tricks to recover it. 

The feather in natural and it is attached to a peacock shaped pendant made from alloy and decorated with colorful rhinestones. The pictures from the sites are a little bit different colored that  it is in reality but the shape of the necklace is the same. The length is about 10 cm.

Inspired by the necklace I made a manicure with the help of some peacock feather printed water decals. As you can see in the pictures on my ring finger I applied the decals in stripes. This is a good idea when you have left overs. I saw this idea at Marie's blog and tried it myself.

I like very much the feather necklace, the quality of it is OK and using it catches the eye through color and shape. Born Pretty Store stamping plate review

I continue with the reviews for the products I received from the Born Pretty Store. This time I have a stamping plate PB-L016. The patterns on this one are very versatile with a vintage touch. As you can see, you can find on them movie icons too, like Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe!

I created two manicures with this plate, I am very curious which one is your favorite. 

The first is very easy one. I made a gradient with two polishes - Avon Gel finish  and the brown, with gold shimmer form Le petit Cliche. I matted it and stamped a leaf pattern on it with the gold Born Pretty Store stamping polish. I really enjoyed this fall nail art on my nails!

The second mani is a little bit different, maybe too daring, because of the color combination. I used for the base the beautiful orange polish from El Corazon - Active Bio-gel X423/284 Cream and after stamping on three of my nails a pattern from the plate PB-L016 I felt like something is missing and this is when I choose to add two polishes Flormar - Full Color - Fresh Start and Sweet Georgia Brown - Rocky Road. I didn't liked the result and than I exaggerated and applied the golden striping tape. I don't know what to tell about this manicure, I live you to write your opinion about it bellow on the comment box!

The stamping plate is absolutely fantastic, as you can see on both of my manicures the patterns transferred very well on my nails! I recommend you the plate PB-L016 because it is pretty and you can create a lot of fantastic nail art with it.
