Winter nail art stickers

Hello lovely ladies, how was your weekend?

Today you will read and see my first review for 2016. I've got some golden Xmas nail art stickers with different kind of models from the Born Pretty Store and made a simple gradient manicure and added some snowflakes on it. As you can see in the bellow picture, the stickers are very versatile, you can find even a Merry Xmas text on it.

The stickers are small and thin, they must be handled with care, because they can trim very easily. When I added them on my nails I used a tweezers and this way I could position them exactly where I wished. They are very sticky, so after placing them, you can not change their position like by water decals.

With top coat

I wore this manicure in December and many friends who saw it were very pleased with it, exactly like I was! I like these stickers very much, because of their small and elegant size and their beautiful details. You can find them here and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code.

January's Nails Challenge - Pantone Colors 2016

Did you miss some collaboration posts here? Well, here it is the first one for this year made together with the girls from The Polish Addict Group from Romania. Each Saturday we will post an interesting and creative nail art theme. The today's one is kind of easy, because we had to use this years Pantone colors, which are Rose Quartz and Serenity.

A few words about them: Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.

I had to look up on my stash for these colors, for Rose Quartz the closest shade was the Moyra polish #401 Matte effect, which I totally forgot how runny and hard to work with it is and for Serenity, it was a little bit harder to find something similar because I don't have much blue shades in my collection. This is why I choose the oldest Golden Rose Paris #212, which came out a little bit to dark on my nails.

With these two polishes on three of my nails I made a gradient and on two of them I used some Born Pretty Store tip guides and made a triangle shape, which I separated with a thin silver holo line, made with Flormar. I added a glossy Moyra top coat as finish.

The tip guides can be found here. In the set you can find 16 sheets with different shapes. Your welcome to use my discount code LML91 for 10% off!

My New Year's Eve nails

Hello lovely ladies and Happy New Year

As you may noticed I was totally absent from the blog these days, because I enjoyed the time off with my little daughter and my family and friends. For me this period of time was quite short, I wish it would lasted a little bit longer.

Well, but now back to blogging, work and everything in between. Today I am going to show you the nails I wore at the New Year's Eve Party. It is not the most beautiful one I have ever made, but considering that I made it in about 20 minutes, I think it is OK.

I wore an animal print dress and this is why I choose to make a french manicure, of course not the usual classic one, spiced a little bit with an animal print. How do you like it?

Under the nails the close pattern of the dress
Before I went to the party I took a little bit time for me to relax and this is why I used one of the peel-off face masks I received from the company 7th Heaven. This mask is made of Manuka honey sourced from New Zealand. This honey is one of the best ones available in the world which is very versatile - it cleanses, moisturizes and also has an antibacterial action. I gently cleaned my skin without stripping off all the essential natural oils from the face, and had a fresh look at the party, thanks for this amazing face mask.

With one of my best friends. This is the one and only picture where my dress is more visible.
How was your New Year's Eve? Were you home or at a party? Did you made some wishes for 2016?

I missed all of you a lot and I am glad to be back and I want to wish you all a wonderful and happy new year with all that you want!
