Welcome 2017

Happy New Year to all of you dear readers and friends. I wish you all the best for 2017. Did you made some new resolutions? Well, as always I wished for my family, friends and me health and happiness!

I know that I've been MIA these days, but those of you who follow me on Facebook may have seen that I cut nasty one of my fingers and this is why I made a pause. In one of the pictures bellow the cut is visible, but I am glad that it heals quickly and well.

With this manicure I want to wish you all the best to all of you, may this new year bring you joy and happiness!

Match the dress

I didn't made such themed manicure for a long....very long time, even if this topic is one of my favorite ones. Recently I had a little bit more time for me and I browsed the internet for some interesting looking dresses and I found a beautiful abstract printed floaty cape dress by Lavish Alice.

One night I couldn't sleep and thought to recreate the dress pattern on my nails. I painted a white base and with a black water based pen I randomly draw some lines. With the help of a brush dabbed in alcohol I slightly touched the lines to create that water spotted effect. The problem was that the black changed in a military green shade, but I started to like the effect of it a lot and this is why I didn't wiped it off. Than, I added a few spots of nail polish on each of my nails with: s-he Stylezone 317 and Vera Valenti #809. I finally thought to add a little bit of gold foil too, but after painting the top coat, the effect of the foils melted together with the nail polish. All in all, even if my final manicure is not very similar to the dress, I am glad that I made this design and I have to admit I like how it turned out.

Now tell me, how do you like this manicure? Can you give me some dress suggestions that I can use as inspiration for some nail art?

Thank you for stopping by!

Exotic water decals

I know that Christmas is coming and I should be getting in the holiday spirit with my nail art, but recently I received a surprise package from the Born Pretty Store with a gorgeous set of water decals and I simply couldn't resist them and I wanted to use them ASAP.

I choose an exotic patterned water decal combined with a magnetic green nail polish Bell - Magic Magnetic #045. The decal is easy to use and I added on a white base.

I love how cool this decal is and I enjoy to were this manicure a lot, even if it is winter time. If you like this product you can find it HERE and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store you're welcome to us my bellow seen discount code.
