Lace effect and a new Farmec product

Last week I noticed that the Romanian brand Farmec brought out a new top coat with gel effect. Well, of course I had to try it quickly, because I was very curious about it. I am lucky that I live in Cluj Napoca, the city where this brand was born, because this way the new products are very easy to find! I went in the shop just to buy the top coat, but I came out with a gorgeous pearl effect polish, and a nail polish cleaner. I was very eager to try all the new goodies, so here is my opinion about them.

I wanted to create a subtle lace effect on my nails for a very long time, and now came the moment to do it. I used for the base the Farmec nr. 313, which is a very sheer pastel, lavender toned polish. In the bottle the lavender shimmer is more visible but after application it transforms in a shinny pearl effect. I applied it in two coats, but for a fully opaque result I recommend three or four! I choose my beloved Suki Plate Collection stamping plate by MoYou London and stamped my nails with Barry M. - Dusky Mauve. This polish is a very good dupe for Chanel Paradoxal.

Two coats of Farmerc nr.313, without top coat

I finished it with the Gel Top Coat from Farmec. This is what the product promises "Gel Top Coat innovative product refreshes and protects nail polish color. Gives nails an intensive shine and instant volume due to gel effect. No need for UV light." Yes, it is true, the shine is very powerful and it lasts quite long. I don't know if I can compare it with the gel effect, maybe if I would applied it on a stronger, more intense color it would be more visible, but I am positively impressed by the quality of this product. It dries quickly, approximately 5 minutes only, it offers a wet look professional finish. I used it on stamping to check if it smears, but the result was an impeccable, smooth and clean finish!

I hope you like my elegant manicure as I do. It was a little bit hard to capture the beauty of it in my pictures, but I did my best!

Look up for MoYou London site,
because you will always find new plate collections!

Disclaimer: The polishes were bought by me for personal use and the review is strictly my personal opinion about the items!

  1. Trebuie sa il caut si eu!Arata foarte interesant si ma incanta foarte mult faptul ca se usuca repede si ca nu intinde modelul stampilat.Sa le folosesti cu spor! :-*
