Retro Party needs retro nails

Does of you who follow me on my personal Instagram account, manasesandrea_photo saw that I went to a retro party last weekend and I had a lot of fun with my friends. Quickly, I needed a manicure with a retro touch and even if I didn't managed to do something complicated I combined some polishes and stamped my nails. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I noticed to late that my camera was not set correctly.

Triangle studs review

Hey, how are you today? Hope you are all enjoying the warm summer weather.

My last manicure was very bright and joyful and today I thought to use a more elegant shade together with some great triangle studs I received for review from the Lady Queen site.

The studs are slightly pyramidal shaped and very small (3 mm) witch is a good thing because it lays flat on curvy nails too. I tried the silver ones, but on the Lady Queen site you can find a gold version too and even a bigger, 5 mm studs. I received 20 pieces of studs in a  Ziploc package. The studs can be applied with a nail glue or just on it own placed on the polished nail and sealed with a top coat.

For my manicure I used Posh Plum by Sally Hansen which is a high glossy pink/plum shade. I think it looks elegant and I got a full coverage with two coats. On my middle finger I used Nals. Inc - Elizabeth St. and I added a small piece of black Lady Queen water decal, that you can find here.

How do you like the manicure? And what about the cute studs?

If you like them you can find them here and if you purchase anything from the Lady Queen site you can use my 15% discount code seen bellow.

Max Factor Deep Coral

I have a nail polish on my nails today that came in a very small bottle with a strong power. I am sure you know the nail polishes with different effects form Max Factor, well, today I have Deep Coral on my nails.

As I mentioned the bottle is small so of course the brush is really tiny too. But I don't complain because it works fantastic, it is the best small brush I have ever used! For full opacity I applied two coats on my nails. Drying time was short and I obtained a high gloss finish.

I made two accent nails with a white base and I applied a few dry brush strokes on it, with a pastel yellow and orange nail polish, than for the final effect a few brush strokes with the Max Factor nail polish. I finished it with a glossy top coat. This nail art was ready in no time and I think because of the color combination and dry strokes it became a very eye catching manicure!

Stamped accent nail

As you can see I post less and less and yes, my nails are unpainted laity because I simply don't have time to care for them :( I have very important changes in my life and they became priority for me! Approximately until September or October you will see very few post's from me, maybe weekly one if I manage to do it. Sorry about it!

Here is one I wore from about two weeks ago. I have a lot of unused nail polishes in my stash and this is one of them, so I had to take it out to the light. I didn't heard about this brand, so when I saw it I had to buy it: Andrea Fulerton - Flip Flop French Duo 'Millie'. As you can see it is a double nail polish thought for french manicure and yes, it has a very thin brush perfect for this kind of nail art, but, I used it the usual way and I liked the outcome a lot. 'Millie' consists of a bright orange shade, and a holographic lilac to use as an overcoat. I put it on white.

How do you like this bright color and stamped accent nail?
