30 minutes manicure and a weekend trip

The last week was very stressful and hard for me, this is why painting my nails became impossible. But one night I had 30 minutes to do my nails, so I opted for a very simple summer nail art.

I took two of my unused polishes from my stash - KIKO 389 Mint Milk and Catrice - Million Brilliance - 08 My Big Green Weeding. The Kiko polish is a bright light mint green shade, perfect for summer, the formula is a little bit denser, so it almost covers in one layer, but I used two, because of the visible streaks. My middle finger I topped it with one layer of the gold/green glitter polish from Catrice. The outcome looked to simple for me, so quickly I took the gold stamping polish form the Born Pretty Store and stamped on two of my nails a pattern from the BP-L 005 stamping plate.

I liked very much the outcome of it, even if I had some issues to take pictures from this mani in artificial light conditions.

Fun and easy to apply tattoos, perfect for summer time. You can find them here

At the weekend we traveled to the Corvin Castle (Castelul Huniazilor) wich is a Gothic-Renaissance castle in Hunedoara. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and figures in a top of seven wonders of Romania. We loved the grandiose castle, the towers, bastions and the inner courtyard, we felt like transported back in time.

On our way back to home we stooped at The Fortress of Deva (Cetatea Devei) which is located in the city of Deva on top of a volcanic hill. We used the funicular to access the top of this hill. That was quite fun for the children!

I am glad we made this trip, we had a lovely time and we were lucky too that the weather was perfect! If you travel to Romania, just take a few hours and go to this wonderful places!

If you liked the above products I sowed you, they are from the Born Pretty Store, so if you purchase anything from there, you're welcome to us my discount code from bellow.

Elegant rhinestones

From quite a while I received some beautiful and very special rhinestones from the Born Pretty Store. So let's see how they look and the mani I've created with them.

The rhinestones come in a round plastic wheel separated in 12 small compartments. The size of the rhinestones are between 2 and 4 mm and they are four different sized one. As you can see in the images bellow the rhinestones have a multichrome effect with a wonderful color shift.

I used for the base a light lavender shade from Flormar that I won from Oana - Unghiutze colorate
For my manicure I used the hairspray technique. This is the first time I use this type of nail art and I have to add that I must exercise more.  The whole procedure is quite easy, but I am not a big friend of water based nail art so I think that the final result is not so good.

For those of you who don't know how this technique works, I am going to write it down in a few steps:
1. Use a glass of water and a brush dipped in nail polish to let a drop of nail polish fall into the cup of water. The polish will spread across the surface and depending on the intensity of the final marble effect you can put more or less drops;
2. Spray hairspray once or twice onto the surface and this way the nail polish will break apart;
3. Place the before polished and dried nail down onto the surface of the water;
4. With a toothpick, remove the nail polish surrounding the finger.

The result is a marble like pattern seen in the pictures. I added a layer of glitter on top of them. On my accent nail I placed the different sized rhinestones randomly.

For placing the rhinestones on my nails I had a very useful tool, a wax pen. This pen picks up any kind of rhinestones easily, you just have to lightly touch them. I am glad that I have this tool because it makes my work even easier.

Both items shown above are fantastic ones! With the rhinestones, that you can find here, you can make any kind of plain polish color look special, just use your imagination. The wax pen, that you can find here, is more than useful for placing any kind of rhinestone on the wanted place!

If you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store you're more then welcome to use my discount code seen bellow!

Bright summer nails

Hello lovely ladies

First of all please let me apologies for the quality of the pictures you will going to see today. My professional camera has some problems and I had to borrow one until mine is recovering :(

Today nail art is made with the saran wrap technique and I used three bright looking polishes for it. On my middle finger I added some small sized neon studs. I enjoyed to have these bright summer nails.

I wish you all a great and easy week!
