Fashion water decals

I use laity a lot of decals because I don't have much time to paint something complicated on my nails and I always like to have at least one accent nail. Today I am going to show you a very pretty and trendy water decal with elegant woman portraits. I received this from the Lady Queen site to try them and tell my opinion about it.

On the sheet you can find 19 woman portraits in different sizes, proper for any nail length. The application of the water decals was easy. I soak them in water first, after I cut the ones I liked the best out from the sheet, then applied and adjust them on my nails, remove the excess water, waited until it dried and added a thin layer of top coat.

I used the leather effect nail polish from Essence Good Girl Bad Girl collection. This one is called It Wasn’t Me. When I applied the first coat I noticed that it looks very similar to Essie’s Belugaria, so I think this one is a very good dupe! I applied two layers, it dried fast to a textured finish. The polish is black with a whole lot of purple and blue glitter chunks. I like this nail polish, even though I don't think that has something to do with a leather effect, much more a concrete one, don't you think?

All in all I liked to were this manicure and thanks to these beautiful decals I received a lot of compliments for it! If you like these pretty water decals you can find them here, and if you purchase anything from the Lady Queen site just use my bellow seen discount code.

Now, I am curious, what do you think about the decals and nail polish? Do you like to were woman portraits on your nails?

Green Shell Sheet review

Did you ever used shells on your nails? Well, I didn't and I was super curious how they feel and look. I received for review a beautiful green shell paper from the Lady Queen site and I decided to add them on a black base. The whole idea was to add it as a piece to cover my whole nail or at least a part of it, but this shell sheet is so hard and unbend-able that it cracked instantly when I wanted to apply it. The sheet is sticky and this way it supposed to be much easier to add it on the nails, but it is not. After the shell cracked the only idea came to my mind to shred them to small pieces and add them on the nails. Because of the sticky part this was a big struggle. I am not satisfied with the result I've obtained at all.

As you can see in the pictures I needed a whole lot of top coat to cover the shells and in my opinion they don't look elegant at all. The only thing I like in this product is the beautiful color and pattern. I tried to apply the shells under a gel layer but nothing impressive came out. I think these shells are very hard, if they would be thinner and bendable would work perfectly!

If you would like to try them out yourself, maybe you come up with better ideas to use them, you can find it here in different colors. Just use my bellow seen discount code for any of your purchase from the Lady Queen site.

Flower stickers

Hello ladies,

Sorry that laity I am not active here on the blog and neither by commenting, but I am very busy and I don't have much time to do my nails. As you saw on my last post, I filed my nails down, because I had two ugly broken edges, but they slowly grow back and with the time maybe I am going to have more fun to paint them :)

Today I am going to show you a very simple manicure that I wore almost a week, it is made with nail stickers that I have received from the Born Pretty Store. As you can see the decals are floral and I may add a very delicate looking one. They are easy to use because for these one, water is not needed, the stickers are attached to a thin transparent foil that makes application much easier. Before use they must be cut to proper nail size and than it can be pressed to the surface of the nails. They stick very quickly to the nail and are not movable as the usual water decals. This sticker has already a white base so, you can add them on your nails without using any nail polish, but in my case you can see them on a simple white base by Essence.

I liked the pattern of these strikers a lot and even if application was quite easy this time I don't like that they are not movable, I prefer instead the water decals. Unfortunately I couldn't find this particular product on the Born Pretty Store site, but you can go and look for other water decals and stickers here because they have a very good variety of them. Fun dots

Weekly I see the wonderful dotted manicures made by Dee Diana and they are so pretty and fun that she made mood to do it myself. Dotted nails are the most easy and cute nail art made in no time. Here is my interpretation using the following polishes: for the base of the dots I applied one coat of the beautiful pearly Miss Broadway - Light Dancing and added the dots with Butterfly - Single (thanks Oana for this cutey ) and the dark purple Astra - Romantic Italian Colours #97

All of my other nails are painted in two coats with the Snake Effect Essence Good girl, Bad girl - Once I was an angel nail polish. Well, I don't know what I expected from this nail polish, but definitely not the finish I obtained. As you can see in the pictures after about 30 minutes of drying time I've got a stripy effect, which I don't think that has something to do with snake skin. The sticker on the backside of the bottle talks about "leather effect" instead of "snake effect", but neither of them came out, in my opinion. Well, doesn't matter, I love this pink shade a lot and with a thin top coat the stripes are not so visible and annoying.

I have from this collection the leather effect nail polish...I am very curios what it will look on my nails!

How do you like the outcome? Do you like dots on nails?

Hollow Square Studs

Do you like to use studs? I do, because they can make any plain nail polish color look more interesting. These days I didn't had much time to do a complicated nail art on my nails and this is why I thought to use the hollow square studs I received for review from the Lady Queen Shop.

I've got 20 studs in a small zip lock bag. The product description on the site didn't mentioned the size of these studs, but in the title appeared the word mini, so I thought that they will fit any nail size. Unfortunately they are quite big ones and I didn't managed to bend them to fit my curvy nails.

For the manicure I used: Australis - Liquid Gold which has a metallic finish and I thought it will go nicely together with Farmec - Muddy Boots. On the last one I added  the square studs together with some round studs I had in may stash. As you can see in the pictures they don't lay flat on my nails, this is why they didn't resisted much on.

If you like these studs or any other shaped ones, you can find them here and if you purchase anything form the Lady Queen Shop, you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code.

Pink to transparent thermal nail polish

Today I want to show you an interesting thermal nail polish by Born Pretty Store, that changes it's color form a rose pink to a light one and to transparent. Yes, this is why this one is quite interesting, but hard to handle :)

The polish comes in a 6 ml small bottle with a thick round brush, this is why application is quite hard. The formula is thick and loaded with silver glitter and big hexes, but they spread quite OK on the surface of the nails. In one coat the polish is so sheer that it is almost invisible, so this is why I applied three coats until the rose pink shade covered my nails. It dries to an almost matte finish, but in the pictures you can see it with a thin glossy top coat. A big plus is that this nail polish is a peel off one, the removal works very easy and quick. I wore this nail polish 5 days on my nails without heavy chipping!

I liked very much the effect of the colors on the nails, the formula is not the best one but as you can see in the pictures I managed to apply them and they resisted on the nails much longer than any other peel off base nail polish! If you like it you can find it here and if you purchase anything from the Born Pretty Store you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code.

Knuckle ring set review

In my last package with nail art products received for review from the Lady Queen website I had a small surprise, a golden ring set. I liked it at first site so I wanted to show you together with a swatch I made for a gorgeous Salon Perfect nail polish.

Purple Passion by Salon Perfect is a pink shade with blue and purple shimmer and it contains some small flakes that gives the polish a really awesome warm glow and depth. The formula is easy to work with and it is kind of a jelly one and you can see it on my nails in two coats. Drying time is acceptable!

And now about the rings: the set contains three rings in different shapes that look very elegant. I received the golden ones, but if you look up for them on the Lady Queen website you can find them in silver too. One of them is resizable the other ones are one sized. They are made from alloy. As you can see in the pictures two of them have small rhinestones in it.

The rings are on sale now, so you can check them here and you will find a lot's of offers for different kind of jewelry's! If you purchase anything you're welcome to use my bellow seen discount code!
