I am going to continue my summer style nail art and today besides my manicure I am going to show you a Double sided nail stamper that I have received for review from the Born Pretty Store.
This stamper is a very
handy one and it comes with two different sized silicon stamping heads. The bigger one is very soft and flexible and it is perfect for curved nails like I have. The silicon stamping head was too smooth and it did not pick up the
images until after I filed it gently down a little bit. After that it worked perfectly! The smaller size is perfect to pick up small images, in this case the silicone head is much firmer than the other one.
The set comes with two different sized scrappers which are both made form plastic so they do not scratch the stamping plates. I used the larger plastic scraper to swipe the bigger images and the smaller one to scrap small ones.
For my manicure I used two pink polishes the sand effect one is ASTOR Perfect Stay Crystal Effect Nail Polish - Rose Quartz and for the base of my stamping I used Moyra Matte effect No. 401. I stamped on it a pattern from the plate BP-L008 and finished it with a matte top coat.

Si eu mi-am cumparat stampila asta, e foarte buna pt stampind decals si pt stamping normal mai ales la unghiile mele lungi. Cu razuitoarele nu prea m-am inteles, le folosesc tot pe ale mele :))

You wrote that you filed it, what kind of file did you use? You filed it just before the first stamping and now it works good? Thank you for your answers :-)

ReplyDeleteSorry for the late answer. I filed gently the surface of the silicone head with a smoother file until it became matte and from that time it works perfectly and it picks up the whole image. I am doing this with any other stamper that has a shinny and smoother surface. I do it just one, at the beginning and after that the stamper works with no problems. I hope it will work for you too! ReplyDeleteDa, asa este acest produs este chiar foarte buna. A devenit favorita mea din cauza capului de stampilat din silicon flexibil! In sfarsit nu ma chinui cu stampilatul pe unghiile mele curbate. Te pup.

ReplyDeleteMilyen erdekes, sokan panaszkodnak ra. Valoban, nem mukodott elsobol, de amiutan a feluletet lereszeltem perfekt lett. Nekem mivel nagyon C formaju a kormom a Konad pecsetelo nem fedi teljesen, igy ez a puha es hajlekony idealis. Remelem nem fogja beadni a derekat, es ugyanilyen jol fog mukodni tovabba is, mert nekem nagyon be jott!

ReplyDeleteI have a similar one from Pueen but I can only get it to pick up the image sometimes... i guess maybe I need to file it more? I also have a plastic scraper but feel like the metal one works better haha... i'm still using the old red konad stamper and pink scraper :p
ReplyDeleteJust file it gently down, because it really works by any other stamping head! I prefer plastic scrapers, because I push to hard and the metal one scratches the surface of the plate :(
