Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter S

Today's post is a little bit mixed because my time is very limited these days. I am going to show you a swatch I made for a gorgeous polish from Tip Top Nails that I received from the lovely Joan and for the challenge a stamped design.

First I am going to talk about the Reggae to Riches - Tip Top Nails polish. As you already know this is a vegan polish, but as you can see in the pictures this is a double sided polish bottle, one containing the polish and the other one golden glass beads. The polish is yellow gold, almost foil like that is very pretty on its own. I applied it in just one coat and it got totally opaque and smooth! The dying time is impressive, after 5 minutes all my nails where completely dry. I think this is a very classy shade and if you use it together with the sprinkle beads you will get an eye catching manicure!

For a more elegant look, I stamped two of my nails with a black polish and I added a few sprinkle beads on it and I covered my hole ring finger nail with caviar beads. They didn't stayed on for very long time, but if you use a very good quality top coat I am sure that you can enjoy them for a much longer time.

Let's see what the other girls made for this alphabet letter:

Born Pretty Store polish review

I will show you today a Born Pretty Store polish called - Dazzling Magical. There are 7 shades you can choose from. I chose the 010 that is a mermaid blue with pink and green shimmer. The manufacturer tells to use this polish over a black or a white base, but I really wanted to test it on it's own.

In one cote the polish is very sheer, you need at least 2-3 coats to get fully opaque. The final effect is a stunning shiny manicure. I struggled to capture the true color of this polish in my pictures, this is way I made a video too.

The formula of the polish is very easy to work with, but the drying time is very long, even after 1 hour my nails didn't dried completely. But this is just because I applied the polish in three coats on my nails.

I have to mention the bottle, this is the most sexy and cute polish bottle that I have in my collection. I know that it is a copy of Nfu-Oh polishes, but still, I like them very much!

Here is how the polish looks on white and black base color!

I didn't made any #nail art on this polish because I thought that it is beautiful on it's own.

If you like Dazzling Magical, you can find it here or just look up for any other nail related stuff or even make-up, jewelry's or many other fashionable products on the Born Pretty Store.

Fishtail nail art

Tip Top Nails South Africa had a contest last week with the theme accent nail. The rules where very simple, the participants had to ask a male to choose three polishes and from them to create a freehand nail art work. My husband in collaboration with my daughter choose the bellow seen polishes and for me it was a good opportunity to try the fishtail nail art.

But first a swatch that you all are waiting for, with the new Moyra Tangerine polish from the Bubble Gum collection. I absolutely love this orange shade, this was the first thing that caught my eye, because I didn't new anything about this special effect polish. I expected a cream finish for this one and I obtained a matte, cream finish combination, exactly like a bubble gum! The formula is a little bit thick, but the application was easy. In one coat, the surface of the nails looked streaky but in two coats the polish got fully opaque and smooth. The drying time is acceptable!

And here comes my fishtail nail art. This is the first time I make it, so it is not my best one, but I enjoyed to paint my nails and I liked the final effect. I combined the orange polish with the gray suede effect polish from Moyra that I won from the lovely Madalina - Miss Happy and Her Nails and the white Pure Milk - Jelly Look polish from Flormar (you can find swatches here.) I finished my nails with a matte top coat.

I hope you liked this design and color combination and oh, I forgot to tell you I didn't won at this competition.
Have you every tried to make fishtail nail art? What was your experience?

Thank you for stopping by!
