Spring nails and a wonderful road trip

Today's post will be a little bit different because I will include some information's and pictures from a wonderful Botanical Garden that I visited with my family at the weekend. So I warn you this post is picture heavy!

But first I will show you my manicure that I've created with these wonderful flower blossom water decals combined with a dark and mysterious color by Leighton Denny - No Comment. This polish has a deep plum undertone, superb depth and electrifying shimmer. It is an autumn, winter color but combined with these decals I found it glamorous and elegant and appropriate for spring too!

The Jibou Botanical Garden Vasile Fati is located in Salaj county Transylvania, 1 hour distance from my city, Cluj-Napoca. It has a surface of 25 acres and has been arranged round the Wesselényi Castle, that was build in 1779 by count Wessélenyi Miklós. Unfortunately the castle it is unused and can not be visited, but the place and the garden it is magical. This castle is the biggest baroque structure in Romania.

In 1970 the place, it became an independent facility as an education and research area for biologists and an area for the public.

The garden has greenhouses, an aquarium, a zoological park and a beautiful Japanese garden. The greenhouses have a lot of tropical and subtropical plants, all sort of orchids and cactus's too. The dome called 'AQUARIUM' accommodates all sort of fish species in 23 small and big aquariums. This beautiful place has also a zoological park with deers, does, boars and an aviary.

In the way home we stooped at a natural reserve called Dragons Garden, but the pictures from there I will show you in my next post. I will leave you with my mani and thank you for stopping by!

Essence - Special Effect Topper - Glorious Aquarius

Today I am going to show you the most beautiful special effect topper from Essence. I feel in love instantly when the lovely Mihaela (www.lacquerbuzz.com), gifted me with this beauty. I can not thank her enough.

Glorious Aquarius is a clear base polish with turquoise and silver hexagonal and fine glitter. I applied a black base from Gabrini and put on the tips the 3D special effect topper. The different sized glitters don't feel rough after drying and it does not create bumps and has a great shinny finish.

I was curious how it will look with a matte finish so I added the Rimmel top coat. It is something very special about matte glitters, though I love the shinny effect too but matte shows the individual glitters better.
There's just something awesome about matte glitters! I liked them shiny as well though, but this shows the individual glitters better. - See more at: http://www.ooohshinies.com/2013/10/the-previous-mani-but-now-mattified.html#sthash.16tvTyfG.dpuf

Born Pretty Store product review

Today I will show you two nail products from the Born Pretty Store that I received from quite a while and I totally forgot about to tell you.

The first one is a 3D Nail Art Patch, that you can find here.

This was my first nail wrap that I ever used, it attracted me because of the colorful design full with small rhinestones.

I applied it in these steps:
1. One of the most important things before you apply any nail wrap is to clean the surface of your nails properly to be grease-free!
2. After that you can apply the foils and smooth it by pushing it with your thumb.
3. Use a nail file to cut off the excessive foil.

Many of the instructions ask's you to apply a top coat for a longer lasting result, well I didn't do it because I already felt that the surface of the nail is thick enough and I didn't wanted to make it look more rough. Because of this, these patches resisted just one day long on my nails.

Overall, I think these kind of patches are best for those who don't have the time to make complicated nail designs and want a super glamorous look at an event or party.

The second product is a gorgeous nail polish - Aqua Blue Shiny Shimmer Nail Polish Glitter

This polish has a great formula it can be applied very smooth and it dries fast. I love the glittery, almost textured finish of it. The silver shimmer makes this polish special, it shines amazing on the sun, so it is a perfect polish for spring and summer!

The polish does not contain toluene, formaldehyde, acetone type solvent, DBP and other carcinogenic substances, so it has a big plus from me!

If you are interested to purchase these products or other nail art stuff just look up for the Born Pretty Store because you will find a lot of interesting products that can satisfy your needs!
